Inspire First Training instructors are fully supported with NUCO Training Limited. NUCO is an approved centre with First Aid Awards Limited, an awarding body regulated by Ofqual in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and by SQA Accreditation in Scotland.

What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic Walking is a walking exercise which allow you to exercise your whole body, with less strain than traditional exercise. It is instructor-led, and will take you on walking routes around Cirencester and South Cerney.

Your instructor

Your instructor, Gary

Hi, my name is Gary. I have been a NUCO qualified instructor since 2018 and provide Ofqual, RQF, and SCQF regulated and non-regulated training courses. I specialise in First Aid, Safeguarding, First Aid for Mental Health, and Nordic Walking. Residing in South Cerney means that I can provide both on-site training in the Cotswolds and at our amazing venues: ROX Lake 12 and Somerford Keynes Village Hall

I have organised and led 22 worldwide adventure training expeditions, responsible for all Risk Assessments and First Aid provision. I am a Trauma Risk Management Instructor, a Scottish Mountain Bike Trail Cycle Leader, and International Nordic Walking Federation Instructor. So, whether canoeing in Algonquin National Park, traversing volcanoes in Tongariro National Park, or mountain biking the Slickrock trail in Moab, ensuring the safety of the team has always been my top priority.
